About Us

We worship Sundays at 10am.

Links to more about us and our values are at the bottom, following a greeting from Rev. Brad.

A Note from the Pastor

Situated in the West Highlands neighborhood, we serve the people of northwest Denver. Highlands United Methodist Church is a community of faith that believes in open hearts, open minds, and open doors.

We open our hearts to receive the grace God offers all people. We celebrate that God loves us as we are and works within us to help us grow into more loving people.

We open our minds to actively think though our beliefs, which are as varied as the many people who are a part of our community. We engage questions, and we don’t settle for simple answers that ignore the complexities of life.

Our doors are open to all people, with no exceptions. We believe that when we embrace diversity, we embrace God. Through those open doors, we also send our congregation out into the world to serve, because the world needs people who believe in making a difference.

Our worship services take place on Sundays 10am. During worship, we gather support for and embrace the joys of the other six days of the week. We strive to create a sacred, welcoming space through music, prayer, and sermons that engage the deep meaning of everyday life.

On behalf of the congregation and staff, I invite you to come and experience the welcoming community that can be found at Highlands UMC.

Be Blessed and Be a Blessing,

Rev. Brad

Because of the increased need during winter, we have been starting at 10:30 instead of 10:454.
