Easter is a time of celebration- we celebrate life, we celebrate God’s love for all people, and we celebrate community. This holiday is one that invites us to seek life all around us- for there is great meaning in our everyday lives.
Holy Week Service: April 18th, 7pm
In-between the “Hosanna!” of Palm Sunday and the “He is risen!” of Easter, is a story ofgreat depth and meaning; it is the story of Jesus last week. We have one service during Holy Week that encompasses both Maundy Thursday and Good Friday. There is music, communion (open to all), and the service concludes with the cross being carried out of the sanctuary.
Easter Worship: April 1st, 8:30 am, 10am, and 11:30am
Celebrate Easter with your neighbors! Our Easter service is filled with joy and music. Piano, organ, trumpet, and choir will lead us in hymns and special music. The sermon is a relatable look at what the Easter Story means for our everyday lives. Children’s Time includes a visit from our puppets. We conclude the service with the Hallelujah Chorus.
Whether you worship regularly or attend on the holidays, Highlands United Methodist Church’s Easter services are a meaningful and engaging way to celebrate life.
