Homosexuality and the Bible – Online Class

Homosexuality and the Bible – You can read the Bible faithfully and support GLBT people and marriage equality.

You can read the Bible faithfully and support GLBT people and marriage equality. This is guiding philosophy of our special class being offered throughout June. This class on Homosexuality and the Bible meets in person Sunday nights at 6:30. Each week we post audio and outlines so that you can “participate” from anywhere. Please send any comments, feedback, or questions to Rev. Brad. Correspondence received during June will be incorporated into the next class.

Please note that some editing has been done to preserve the privacy of class participants. Group discussions have been removed, though all of my responses to Q&A are intact with as much context as possible.

Session Two: The Sins of Sodom

This week’s session was not recorded during the evening class due to some technological and practical reasons, so I recorded it just for online listening.

Session Three: Holiness Codes and Eunuchs

Like last week’s session I recorded this one just for online listening, with one small piece from the live session. Both quality and content are higher this way.

Many different resources are being used in the preparation of this class (and are annotated in the outline) but here are two of the primary texts: The Children Are Free and What the Bible Really Says about Homosexuality
