Peanut Butter and Jelly Ministry

Categories: Children and Families,Highlands News,Service and Outreach

On the fourth Saturday of each month, members of Highlands United Methodist church gather to make sack lunches to share with the homeless and hungry in Civic Center Park.  We meet at 10:45 a.m in the Fellowship Hall to assemble the sandwiches.   If you wish to help but can’t attend, please consider donating one  of the following items to this ministry:   individually bagged chips, granola bars, paper lunch bags, plastic sandwich bags, bottled water, or socks.  Right now we have a lot of peanut butter and jelly.  We will let you know when you need more.  This ministry is a wonderful expression of the inclusive nature of HUMC.  This ministry is perfect for folks of all ages and abilities.
